1.I want to dose macro synthetic fibres in a doser that is set up for steelfibres. Can it be done?

2.How often do I need to make a weighing trimming of Incite dosers.

3.I want to move a doser from Europe to USA running it with 3 phase 440V and 60 Hz. Is it possible without any major changes?

Answer

1. Yes, most macro synthetic fibres with few exceptions can be dosed in standard Incite dosers. The standard loadcell resolution on Incite doser are set to 200 gr and if a better resolution when dosing synthetic fibres are required, it can easily be changed with a new weighing trimming of the doser. Simply switch CF (custom function) under ISETUP on weighing instrument from CF 0 to CF 2. Then the resolution is changed to 50 gr. For step by step instructions, please contact Incite AB. 2. From experience we have learned that the loadcells are very stable. However, for top accuracy, we recommend to weigh control Incite dosers on regular basis following the quality standards of your factory. Autumn 2009, Incite will have an automatic weighing control system attaching to Incite dosers. Please ask Incite for more information. 3. Basically we do not recommend this without consulting Incite. There are components in the electric cabinet that are only suitable for running under 50Hz (european frequency) and also the eccentric weights of the vibrators must be changed.
